Article 1 Explanation of terms
Expat Estate Agency Services (EEAS): is a trading name of Expat Estate Agency. Use of the name, the product or parts thereof is only permitted with the express written consent of Expat Estate Agency.
Client: the relation of EEAS that issues a request for Expat Services to EEAS.
Assignment: the client's order for an Expat Service to EEAS.
Fee: the fee due for work performed by EEAS.
Article 2 Methods of implementation
(a) The client issues the order to EEAS only through eeas.nl by using the application form.
Article 3 Tariffs
(a) The fees for the different services are displayed on the request form and also in the confirmation email.
Article 4 Payment
(a) The invoice must be paid within 14 days of receipt, quoting the reference number.
(b) The client is responsible for payment of the invoice at all times.
Article 5 Applicability of these terms and conditions
(a) These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders for Expat Services and to agreements concluded by EEAS with regard to the performance of Expat Services. The General Terms and Conditions of (potential) clients of EEAS do not apply to orders placed with EEAS, not even in addition to these General Terms and Conditions. EEAS excludes any possible application of the General Terms and Conditions of (potential) clients/business relations.
(b) Deviations from and/or additions to these General Terms and Conditions are only binding on EEAS insofar as they have been expressly agreed with EEAS in writing. The General Terms and Conditions drawn up by EEAS remain in force for the rest, subject to such deviations and/or additions.
Article 6 Liability
(a) The client is responsible for providing EEAS with the current terms and conditions of the various financial institutions when placing an order. If the client fails to provide the above information or provides it incompletely, EEAS cannot be held liable for the non-acceptance of the Expat Service by a recognised mortgage lender.
Article 7 Competent court and applicable law
(a) Dutch law applies. If disputes cannot be resolved between the parties, the court in Amsterdam shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
